Bookt Privacy Policy
Who we are
Bookt is an online appointment scheduler for WordPress. Our website address is: www.booktpro.com. Below you’ll find information on our privacy policies. NOTE: We do not share any of your data! All data collected is for the basic operation of this website and employs standard practices in a secure environment.
Google Calendar
BooktPRO’s integration of the Google Calendar API requires the collection of certain information in order for users to add appointments to their calendars. Data collected includes the time and date of the appointment being booked, name, email, of each user adding the appointment to their respective Google Calendars, and potentially the address where the appointment is being held. This includes the ability to see, edit, share and permanently delete Google Calendar entries in order for BooktPRO to work as expected. Infomration is shared between users booking the appointment in addition to the site’s admin or staff member’s in order to sync calendar’s for those who are involved in an appointment, and any of this information needed to book the appointment will be stored on the calendar’s of each party involved in shared bookings. We will never store or share your information, and hold no responsibility with what information is shared by individuals involved in the bookings. By agreeing to the use of the Google Calendar functionality, you agree to these terms.
Zoom Meeting Data (BooktPRO Zoom App)
BooktPRO includes a feature to automatically generate a Zoom meeting link for all parties involved in an appointment booking. This portion of the plugin uses a custom “Zoom App” which temporarily stores basic data about each Zoom meeting created in order to generate the link. All Zoom data is protected on our secure server via transport layer security (TLS) 1.3. No personal data is ever collected by Zoom, or our website, and the data stored is simply time-stamp based info on the meeting. Likewise, the application itself has no access to this storage, nor the basic data that is stored.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on this site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
